50W mini guitar amp top box with Nutube technology It's so small but it sounds so big! Mini top for guitar that is only 13.5cm wide and weighs just over half a kilo, but still delivers a sound for the fattest guitar sandwiches. The MV50 is equipped with VOX's revolutionary Nutube technology, which is a modern tube that allows you to build amplifiers with the classic tube sound but in a significantly smaller format, and that the disadvantages of warm-up time, longevity and fragility are completely gone. If you plug this into a 4 ohm box, it delivers up to 50W strong & loud watts! It sounds incredibly much more than its size suggests. It matches almost any speaker box. On the back is a switch where you can choose a Deep or a Flat mode.
If you plug your MV50 into a smaller speaker box, you select the Deep mode and the amplifier produces something more low-end to compensate for the small box's higher treble sound. If you instead have a larger box, use the Flat mode & the MV50 lets your guitar sound through completely without impact. With another small switch also located on the back of the top, you can choose between 4, 8 or 16 ohm impedance depending on which speaker box you connect it to. On the back is the speaker output as well as an output for headphones/line which has built-in speaker simulation for easy practice or recording. The design and function are bang on rock 'n roll with no frills! A Volume, a Gain and a Tone control as well as an analogue VU meter and has a fat and lovely dist. The MV50 is an incredibly cool top with a robust chassis that you can easily carry with you in the chrome handle.
