The PRS SE A40E matches the bottom and sides of the Ovangkol with a solid spruce top for rich, opulent tones. Paired with PRS hybrid "X" Classical tone bars, which really let the lid vibrate, the SE A40E's tone projects with both impressive volume and exquisite nuance. The Angelus Cutaway shape of the body provides comfort, well adapted to plectrum and finger playing.
When plugged in, the Fishman GT1 system delivers dynamic, organic tones and allows guitarists to take this guitar from the rehearsal room to the stage with ease. The pickup is mounted in the saddle and the preamp sits in the sound hole, with the volume and tone controls easily accessible. The PRS SE A40E also comes with a high-quality hard case.
