Designed together with Akira Jimbo, the Hybrid series combines the dark sonic characteristics with brilliance!
The model has a turned surface in a natural finish and an unturned surface in a brilliant finish. This gives a cymbal with a sound you basically recognize as the classic K Custom sound but adds additional projection and top and that you have two different surfaces to play on which when played with the grape gives notes of a completely different character.

14.25" Hybrid Hi-hat - Somewhat odd size, this to give a little more power than a normal 14" hi-hat.
The under cover is a MasterSound but with wider folds for a larger contact surface between under and over cover, which gives darker & warmer chick and wash. - 21" Hybrid Ride - Maximum versatility is the main idea with this ride which has fantastic crash characteristics but also an incredibly penetrating and bright clock.

17" Hybrid Crash - A thin crash that responds lightning fast but penetrates like a thicker and harder cymbal.
