The JS140M can best be described as a full-sized little sibling to Joe's more expensive JS signature models.
The JS series is an instrument that Joe has used for many, many years now and you simply don't see him with anything else in his hands. The playing feel can be described as modern vintage with a slightly rounder, more C-like profile than Ibanez normally has.
As I said, the JS140M is a simpler model of the JS series, the playing feel and neck/body are recognizable from the more expensive siblings, but the pickups, bridge, etc. are of a simpler model. The bridge is an Ibanez Edge-Zero II, a safe and stable bridge that keeps the atmosphere as it should. The pickups are Ibanez Infinity RD in the neck and a Quantum stall pickup that can be split with a push/pull pot that sits on the tone control.
