The EMG JMaster™ Pickup is inspired by the look, feel and sound of classic, proven pickup designs.
As part of the Retro Active Line Up, the pickups feature Alnico 5 rods and wide stacked coils for a rich and balanced single coil tone. Like all EMG Active Pickups, the JMaster is hum free and incredibly easy to install.
The Pickguard system features a powerful set of master EQ controls on the instrument's upper horn.
The beloved SPC control packs a punch with its mighty mid-boost at the turn of a knob. Or flip the switch to turn it into a pure boost across the entire frequency spectrum - giving you up to 12dB.
