Tingsha are very faithful to the classic Tibetan finger cymbals. Tingsha consists of two metal plates/finger cymbals with a string between them. Play/touch the cymbals gently against each other and you get the classic tone from them. The special thing about this instrument is the interval between the two cymbals. This range is one octave higher than the "alpha brain state". When we hear the sounds that each cymbal makes through its overtones and the leap between them, it becomes easier to enter into meditation.
