No longer limited by the technology of that era, this classic humbucker set adds a newly developed external preamp that provides the benefit of a low impedance output resulting in virtually no hum or extra noise. The Alnico magnets deliver a fat, warm sound without losing any clarity in the high register. The preamp cleans up all output noise but retains the passive nature of your tone.
