A tone generator for the discerning! Made to be used with a clean amp, the Fat Sandwich dishes out big loads of crunchy dust via its innovative multi-stage clipping circuit. The passive Tone section is designed to hit your sweet spot with whatever combination of guitar and amp you want to use. The Volume control gives you access to heaps of output, and the Drive control goes from gentle crunch to maxed-out harmonic saturation. In addition to this, the Fat Sandwich has three internal mini-controllers to fine-tune the pedal to your rig.
- Curve, to adjust the corner frequencies in the first distortion stage
- Drive, to set the gain of the second distortion stage
- Highs, to tune in the treble frequencies before the second distortion stage
- VOLUME - provides output in large loads for more headroom
- TONE - adjusts the tonal mix along with the Pres and Reso controls
- DISTORTION - loads of crisp distortion to saturate the soundstage
- PRESENCE - varies the response in the upper registers
- RESONANCE - manipulates the lower and midrange frequencies
