Music Man was started by Leo Fender and his two colleagues from Fender and began manufacturing amplifiers, electric guitars and electric basses. Today's Cutlass is an extremely well-built further development of the design Music Man did in the 70s. And here no expense has been spared to create a premium guitar. Music Man has been part of the Ernie Ball family since 1984 .
The body is, as it should be, made of alder, the neck is roasted maple with a rosewood fingerboard and stainless steel frets. Music Man's tremolo system in combination with lockable tuning screws from Schaller guarantees a guitar that keeps the tune, in addition there is a compensated saddle for better intonation. Music Man's self-designed Humbucker and Single coils and Music Man's patented Silent Circuit system give you a wide sound selection that covers most music styles without hum.
