The AS93 is one of the models in the Ibanez Artcore Expressionist series. A guitar with a traditional 355th piece with a through middle stock. The guitar is very insensitive to feedback/roundabout even at very high volume.

The guitar has a 3-piece Expressionist Nyatoh/maple set-in (glued into the body) neck, a medium thick neck with a round, C shaped, profile. Perfect for both solo and chord playing. The fretboard is bound ebony with traditional Pearl block inlays and binding.
The pickups are the Ibanez Super 58, which combines a soft and nuanced tone with an ability to bite when needed. Works just as well for pure and traditional jazz sounds as for overdriven blues and rock sounds.
