A thin, fast and explosive cymbal with a reasonably controlled sustain and a wonderfully dark undertone. The dynamics are completely unmatched and it opens up in a lovely way during soft playing but thrives just as well in stronger modes without stifling or delivering too low a volume. The bell is large with clear accented sound that comes through in a musical way. The crash properties of the K Sweet Ride are magical and work to comp crash on or to use as a super large massive crash. The stock definition is clear and the wash big, massive and dark.
Each specimen in the series is unique where both color and hammering can vary and where the watch can be anything from an almost traditional finish to black or purple mottled. The hammering is unique and can be deeper in some places where the color can be darker all the way to black.
