Star Individual Snare. Star Reserve Stave Ash and Stave Walnut are made from 16 solid blocks glued to 10mm frames. The result is stable snare drums with a good core and a large clear body. Ash has a slightly more brilliant top register while Walnut is slightly rounder in its sound character, both feel powerful without being harsh or intrusive. The frame's precision and rounded chamfering make the Star drums easy to tune and ensure that the skin makes optimal contact with the frame.
The molded edge focuses the sound and gives power to the edge hits. The Sejarmechaniken, Linear-Drive MLS50A/MLS50B keeps the Sejarmat in place and is the same lauded mechanism that, among other things, Starphonic was gifted with.
