Considered by many to be the most recognizable electric guitar ever, Eddie Van Halen's iconic and highly respected Frankenstein™ guitar now comes to you at a price that the everyday musician can afford in the form of this made in Mexico EVH® Striped Series Frankenstein™ "Frankie" .

Featuring Eddie's famous red with white-and-black-striped lacquer and a worn relic-like look, it features a Stratocaster®-style basswood body paired with a graphite-reinforced quarter-sawn maple neck.

An oiled finish on the back of the neck provides hours of playing comfort, while the 12"-16" combined radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets was designed for fast and intense playing styles.

Rooted for an HSS pickup configuration just like Eddie's original, the Frankie features an EVH Wolfgang® humbucker pickup in the bridge, a dummy Strat® pickup in the neck position, and a dummy five-way pickup in the middle position.

A stable and reliable EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo and Floyd Rose locking nut work together for precise tuning even at extreme pitch changes, while the EVH D-Tuna® allows quick and precise tuning to drop-D and back with a simple finger press. Other unique features include a white surround Strat-style single volume control knob (marked "tone"), custom black pickguard, relic chrome hardware, standard strap buttons, and EVH neck plate.
