The SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow has a soft and pleasant midrange that responds incredibly well. The body with tone chamber gives a soft and airy tone, but which via the tone control and the two humbucker microphones can quickly give more bite and body. This SE Custom 22 features a maple top with Shallow Violin arching, mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard and two 85/15 “S” humbuckers.
The microphones are controlled with a volume and tone control, where the possibility of splitting the two humbucker microphones with the tone control has a Push/Pull function. The 85/15 “S” has a remarkable clarity and has extra pressure in the treble and bass register to be able to articulate the tone from this "semi-hollow".
The SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow is both versatile and comfortable, making the instrument a great tool for the pros, a good choice for the beginner. Simply a welcome addition to most people's instrument arsenal.
