The PRS SE A60E matches the ziricote back and bezel with a solid spruce top. The tone tightens the lower frequencies with the treble slightly muted, similar to many vintage acoustic guitars. In combination with PRS hybrid "X"/Classical bracing, which allows the lid to vibrate freely, the SE A60E projects with fantastic volume and exquisite nuances. The cutaway body delivers comfort and playability for both plectrum and finger playing.

When plugged in, the Fishman GT1 system delivers dynamic, organic tones and allows guitarists to take this guitar from the rehearsal room to the stage with ease. The pickup is mounted in the saddle and the preamp sits in the sound hole, with the volume and tone controls easily accessible. The PRS SE A60E also comes with a high-quality hard case.
