That said, while the Ibanez RG guitars represent what is associated with Metal, the Ibanez basses did not have their counterpart, with its identical contour, sharp edge and ultra-thin neck, etc.
But finally Ibanez came to the choice of the bassists, who were looking for a model to fit in the brutal Metal gigs and more importantly, to fit perfectly in their equipment. The RGB series certainly fills the missing part of the Ibanez bass realm.
