Built with the choice of solid mahogany top along with solid mahogany sides and bottom, the PO-220E features an offset X-bracing that has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone. A Fender and Fishman®-designed pickup enhances the PO-220E's newly designed orchestral body with its warm, mid-focused tone, while the controls mounted in the soundhole preserve that vintage aesthetic.
Under the hood, a body sensor pickup enhances resonance in the body which can then be mixed with the undersaddle mounted Sonicore pickup. Updated cosmetics include snowflake-shaped pearl inlays on the fingerboard, feather-patterned fretboard, bow and back fret, and a black pickguard.
The PO-220E also has a bridge and fingerboard in Ovankel, a thin and easy-to-play mahogany neck, bone bridge and saddle and comes with a hardcase.
