KCD900 - K Custom Dark Cymbal Pack

K Custom is a series of incredibly musical & dynamic cymbals. K Custom has a dark & ​​warm undertone with a large body but still with slightly brighter & more penetrating notes than many models of darker cymbals normally have. The hammering method Zildjian uses here gives the series controlled overtones & a lovely, understated trashiness that doesn't overpower but helps bring out an explosiveness with a quick sortie. K Custom can be heard & come through the music in a good way but are fast enough that they don't mess up & take up too much space in the soundscape. KCD900 includes:

• 14" Dark Hi-hat - A hi-hat with a warm & dark tone but with a clear, slightly brighter touch that penetrates. ZC Dark Hats have a clear sound when you stomp the hi-hat, respond quickly to hi-hat openings & can roar well with really open playing.
• 20" Dark Ride - A warm & dark sound with a good ping & controlled harmonics. Can be excellently increased in dynamics & used as a comp crash or a big massive crash with warm body & trashy sound.
• 16" Dark Crash
• 18" Dark Crash - Two crashes with a dark & ​​warm undertone but with clear impact & bright attack. Here you have two crashes that explode in the soundscape and then disappear again just as quickly as lightning.
