The JSA5 is a slightly simpler version of the JSA20, a signature acoustic for Joe Satriani. Everything Joe puts his name on is the common denominator "tone", the JSA series is no exception. Solid Englemann spruce top and mahogany sides and bottom.
The pickup system is a Fishman® S-Core™ pickup. piezo pickup that drives a Fishman® Presys™ preamp. An easy-to-maintain and good-sounding preamp system with built-in tuner.
The guitar is an easy-to-play model with a neck that closely resembles an electric guitar neck, an electric guitarist immediately feels at home on it. The body is full size and sounds and feels like a good acoustic guitar should.
