B-STOCK= fixed crack in the lid.
Dreadnought with cutaway from Cole Clark. Big full tone, and a really nice microphone system.
Cole Clark started in 2001 and is located in Melbourne, Australia. They combine classic construction with innovative design and construction methods to produce a lighter, more durable, unique guitar with arguably the best microphone system on the market. Cole Clark's patented 2-way and 3-way pickups are made like the guitars in Australia and the amplified sound will make you wonder how you could ever choose anything else.
Cole Clark uses a "Spanish" integrated neck construction where the neck is glued together with top, rim and bottom so the neck is intact all the way to the sound hole. On other guitars, the neck is attached to the body afterwards. Cole Clark's method gives a unique sound and almost incomprehensible long sustain.
Cole Clark uses ecologically sustainable woods that are both beautiful and superb as tone wood. This one has a Bunya top and maple sides and bottom.
Cole Clark's patented 2-way microphone system provides a more acoustic sound than any other pickup on the market. 6 individual piezos provide better separation, clarity and bandwidth than traditional "strip". A "Face Sensor" is built into the bracing under the lid to capture the middle register and the sound of the body, which gives outstanding results, not least for percussive playing style.
The 3-way system also features a condenser microphone that only listens above 2100 Hz, providing extra air, overtones and "woody feel" without the round-robin problems that occur with conventional microphone systems.
