Epiphone's ProBucker™ humbuckers are made with 18% nickel silver in the base and caps, the same alloy that Gibson used in its legendary factory in Kalamazoo when the humbucker was first invented. The result is a pickup that has made even connoisseurs believe they have played on a real gem from rock's childhood. The alloy has low conductivity and gives a more transparent and peaky signal.The ProBucker™ also features sand cast Alnico II magnets, 4 conductors of quality wire, and are waxed to eliminate microphonics.
