AAD stands for Accuracy, Articulation, Dynamics. The AAD twirl pad provides good dynamics and clear articulation just like you want in a twirl practice pad!
The pad has an edge that simulates a drum rim that allows you to practice both "rim-shots and sidestick" techniques. Built into the AAD Snarepad are small steel balls
which produces a whirl/buzz sound that simulates the beat of a snare drum. Harder hits produce more buzz sound, while softer plays produce less buzz sound.
