In the 2023 John Petrucci JP15 "Butterscotch Burl" BFR we find a unique combination of tonewoods that make it the jewel of any guitar collection. The JP15's highlights begin with a truly beautiful Butterscotch Burst buckeye burl top, bordered by a thin rosewood veneer and mounted on a smooth and well-sounding Black Limba body. The back of the Black Limba body is adorned with a distinctive and beautiful trans-butterscotch satin finish.
The neck combines roasted figured maple and a rosewood fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets. Like most JP15 models, this guitar features Dimarzio Illuminator neck and bridge pickups, a gain boost of over 20dB, and a super-smooth modern tremolo with Schaller locking tuning screws for ultimate tuning stability.
Limited to 100 copies worldwide, each guitar includes a Mono case, a John Petrucci signed back plate and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
