The all-new BFR nitro-finish Axis Purple harkens back to Ernie Ball Music Man's early production period and celebrates one of Music Man's earliest artist-inspired guitar designs. The BFR Axis features a beautiful nitro-finish hand-stained transparent purple maple top over a light basswood body.
Unlike the original black back, the BFR model has a unique purple-shaded back and sides that are beautifully highlighted with cream binding.
Equipped with 2 custom-wound Dimarzio Zebra pickups, a 3-way toggle switch and a single 500k volume pot.
Each guitar comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a specially designed G&G hardcase with purple trim to match the guitar's beautiful color.
