An absolutely wonderful tube-equipped amplifier top of 100 watts with combined Bass and Treble channels! The HDRX is inspired by one of Jimi Hendrix's personal amps, the same amp he most likely used at Woodstock in 1969.
This particular amplifier was studied by Paul Reed Smith and Doug Sewell who are amplifier designers at PRS in 2018. With the sound the top delivered in focus they created the HDRX top & have really succeeded in producing an innovative, innovative & modern tube top but which has the sought after sound as British amplifiers had in the late 60s. The sound has a focused top register but does not become hard & cold, but the warm bottom is there in the sound image.
The ability to dial in anything from a sing-song strum sound with a lot of presence to a caressing one and whisper clean sound is present.
