The Ruby Red Booster can be used as a treble boost, pure boost or overdrive. All these options can also be combined with each other. It makes the pedal very versatile and different from other boost pedals. The reversible buffer knob inside the pedal allows you to boost your signal in bypass mode to solve problems with loss of treble and gain when using many pedals and/or long cables.
Treble Booster is a fine-tuned booster for exactly the right treble frequency with carefully designed bandwidth and an optimized bass cut. The booster circuit is designed to overdrive the amp's inputs from shimmer to heavy overdrive, thanks to 40dB of boost. The booster is tuned to produce musical distortion at higher boost settings.
The master volume control controls the output. With it you control both booster circuits. It makes it possible to greatly increase the boost for distortion while maintaining control over the output.
