Classic Treble Booster - one of the secret ingredients that helped create the legendary sound we associate with Rory Gallagher, Brian May, and Tony Iommi. Rooster is built with the best components available, carbon comp resistors and tropical fish capacitors, for a genuine vintage sound. The crucial ingredient for any treble booster is the choice of transistor. In JAM Pedal's experience, there is nothing that compares to the CV7003, military spec OC44 transistors.

As stock of Rooster-compatible CV7003s steadily depletes, JAM Pedals is proud to reintroduce it; unique and rare, with point-to-point construction housed in a luxurious leather envelope.

By varying the volume of the guitar, you can access many different textures, from pure crunch to fat boosted overdrive. Rooster also has a three-position switch for treble, midrange, and bass focus.

  • All limited edition rooster pedals are supplied with an extra aluminum bottom-plate for mounting on pedalboards.

“This Rooster will certainly wake up your amp in a vintage-inspired fashion.”

– GUITARIST magazine

“...playing the Rooster through a good overdriven tube amp evokes some of my favorite classic tones and you get a great variety of sounds by manipulating your guitar volume...”
- Julien Kasper

“Rooster is an extremely musical treble boost with a vintage feel! Great shimmer, never harsh!”
- Nir Felder

"The Rooster is incredible! It is the smoothest treble booster I've heard. Between the three settings, it is possible to get the original Rangemaster as well as Hornsby-Skewes tones. When pushing an amp, it's my favorite color. More than just hearing the note, you can actually “Feel” it coming through the amp.”
- Ricky Z.
