With Pico Deep Freeze gives the opportunity to stop time. Pico Deep Freeze can function as a sustain pedal to let chords and notes ring or to open up whole new worlds in terms of guitar sound. You can also adjust the attack/decay effect, glissando and the mix of the effect signal and the direct signal. Pico Deep Freeze has three different modes, Latch, Moment and Auto, which give almost endless possibilities to use this small compact pedal.
In Latch mode, the tone lasts when you activate the pedal with a press of the footswitch and is activated until you switch to bypass mode. In Moment mode, the effect is only activated when the pedal is depressed and when released, the effect is switched off, while Auto mode automatically retains the tone or chords when a certain volume level is reached.
Separate DRY and EFFECT controls let you adjust the balance between the effects signal and the direct signal. The GLISS control adjusts the time it takes when you transition from one "freeze" to another. The SPEED/LAYER knob adjusts the speed of the attack or decay effect when in Moment and Auto modes.
