KORG's legendary Wavestation from 1990 introduced Wave Sequencing to an enraptured music world, which could now transform simple samples into sounds no one had ever heard before. Subsequent synths refined the process even more, and now KORG has released the next step in digital synthesis: Wavestate. With the radically changed Wave Sequencing 2.0, it delivers stunning, ever-changing sounds with extensive hands-on control.
Far from being a reissue, Wavestate is instead designed from the ground up for a new generation of musicians, producers, and composers, with inspiration from modular synths, groove boxes, and algorithmic composition. The compact format, with its 37 full-sized keys, makes it easy to transport and practical for both stage, studio and home use.
