AHB-1 Blackouts Active Humbuckers
Many guitarists who love active pickups have wanted a pickup with less compression and a wider frequency range. Duncan discovered that other brands on the market use unbalanced inputs in a differential preamp, which is not very effective if you want to remove hum. Duncan found a solution to this while maintaining tone. The result is that the Blackouts are up to 14dB quieter than their competition, also have more low frequency, more high frequency and more output than the competition.
In other words, the Blackouts have more tone than other active pickups.
